UK Uber driver tax calculator 2026/27
Estimate tax on private-hire income after platform charges, business mileage and other costs.
How the Uber driver estimate works

Questions about Uber driver
Should platform fees be entered as a cost?
If takings are entered gross before the platform deduction, an allowable service fee is normally entered as a cost. Do not deduct it twice if the income figure is already net.
Can mileage and actual vehicle costs both be claimed?
Not for the same vehicle and period under simplified expenses. The mileage rate is intended to cover vehicle running costs, although certain non-vehicle business costs may still be separate.
